Twenty years of karst, sweat, and pride: Jubilee 20th Škraping on Pašman unites sports elite and humanitarian heart for Zadar maternity ward

On Saturday, March 7, 2026, the Municipality of Tkon on the island of Pašman will host a historic sporting spectacle. The 20th jubilee Škraping does not only mark two decades of running across the sharpest Dalmatian karst; it celebrates the victory of human will and community.

This iconic race, which has long transcended sports to become an island phenomenon, celebrates its grand jubilee by giving back to the youngest—a portion of this year’s registration fees is dedicated to equipping the Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics at Zadar General Hospital.

Over the past 20 years, Škraping has become an inseparable part of Pašman’s identity, merging extreme sport with untouched nature.

For this jubilee edition, four legendary categories have been prepared:

• Ultra (45 km): The longest and most demanding trail for true professionals and those seeking the ultimate endurance test,
• Challenger (25 km): A dynamic, medium-difficulty trail, ideal for active trail runners,
• Active (12 km): A category for recreations who want to experience the charm of “škrapanje” at a slightly milder pace,
• Light (6 km): A family trail intended for children, parents, and socializing by the sea.
